Schwartz Brothers Bakery Celebrates 40 Years of Sweet Success

Schwartz Brothers Bakery combines ingredients of quality, history and flavor to yield 40 years of baking success. Producing tens of millions of muffins, breads and pastries since 1973, Schwartz Brothers Bakery kicks off 2013 with a new branding program, which will bring Schwartz Brothers Bakery branded items to grocery store shelves in four states beginning in February 2013, marking the first multi-state distribution agreement for the Seattle-based company.

The Schwartz Brothers Bakery branded items will be available in the bakery department of grocery store chains including QFC, Costco, Fred Meyer and PCC, as well as a variety of local coffee shops and restaurants. Previously, Schwartz Brothers Bakery items were sold under the respective store brands, therefore this is the first time the items will carry the Schwartz Brothers name. Offerings include organic multi-seed bagels, organic cranberry pumpkin seed bread, blueberry cream cheese muffins, cinnamon chip scones, and much more.  In addition to the branded line available in grocery stores, Schwartz Brothers Bakery offers cinnamon rolls, butter croissants, pumpkin bread and vanilla scones for home delivery through Amazon Fresh.  Editor’s note: Schwartz Brothers Bakery and the Schwartz Brothers Restaurants should be members of the Eastside Business Directory.

Fresh creamery butter is used as the cornerstone of the Schwartz Brothers Bakery products and ingredients are locally-sourced when possible, including grains, berries, nuts and dairy from Northwest suppliers. The bakery offers a new line of certified organic breads and bagels, and all products are made without trans-fat, high-fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors and colors. All products are certified Kosher.

Schwartz Brothers Bakery was established in 1973 to serve the Schwartz Brothers’ family of restaurants with the highest quality breads and house-made desserts and currently provides all of the baked goods for Chandler’s Crabhouse, Daniel’s Broiler, Spazzo Italian Grill & Wine Bar and Gretchen’s Shoebox Express.
