After a successful grand opening, Carolyn and Tony Scott have added lunch to Woodblock restaurant’s offerings. Lunch is now on daily at the Redmond restaurant from 11am to 3pm—happy hour kicks in right after that, running from 3pm to 6pm, with dinner starting at 4pm.

After serving in the Army for 8 years, Ben Bare bought a franchise in Redmond so he could be his own boss. One year later, he reflects on his biggest accomplishments and shares his goals for year two.
Before he opened a Window Genie franchise in Redmond last spring, Ben Bare spent eight years as an Army Ranger. He earned the rank of Staff Sergeant during his service that included nine combat tours to both Iraq and Afghanistan. During his transition out of the Army, Bare and his fiancé decided that starting a business in the community they loved was the key to their happiness and success. Carolyn and Tony Scott are delighted to announce the opening of their first restaurant, Woodblock. The official grand opening will take place at 4pm on March 18 with a ribbon cutting by Redmond Mayor John Marchione.
Woodblock is located on Cleveland Street in the Old Town Lofts, a new building in downtown Redmond. The restaurant is right next to the Connector Trail and the forthcoming Redmond Central Park, which will have a pavilion for performances and space for families and friends to gather and play. The area has been redesigned with pedestrians in mind with lights strung across the street and wide sidewalks—something that Woodblock will take advantage of with outdoor seating come summertime.
