Overlake Medical Center Welcomes New Board Members Beth McCaw and Ted Herb
Bellevue, Wash. (March 17, 2016) –Overlake Medical Center announced today the addition of Beth McCaw and Ted Herb to the hospital’s board of trustees.
“We are delighted to welcome Ms. McCaw and Mr. Herb,” said J. Michael Marsh, Overlake CEO. “Both Beth and Ted bring unique experience and expertise that will help Overlake continue to accomplish our mission of providing first-class medical care to our Eastside community.”
New Overlake Medical Center board members:
N. Elizabeth (Beth) McCaw, Trustee
Ms. McCaw is president of Washington Women’s Foundation, the oldest and largest women’s collective grant-making organization in the country. In 2010, Ms. McCaw retired from Stokes Lawrence, P.S., where she was a shareholder in the firm’s estate planning group. As an attorney, Ms. McCaw focused her practice on estate planning, gift and estate taxation, probate and trust administration, charitable giving and the law of tax-exempt organizations. She is immediate past chair and current director of YWCA of Seattle-King County-Snohomish County Board of Directors. Ms. McCaw’s other service includes past president, the Rainier Club Board of Trustees; past chair, executive committee, Washington State Bar Association Real Property, Probate & Trust Section; former adjunct professor, Seattle University School of Law and City University.
Ted Herb, Trustee
Mr. Herb serves as executive vice president of operations and principal at GLY Construction, Inc. and served as its vice president of operations. He is a member of GLY Construction, Inc.’s corporate planning team. In addition he has served as GLY’s chief estimator and director of marketing. He has 14 years of construction management experience focused primarily on hospital and medical clinic projects, both in new construction and renovations, in both civil and site work construction. Mr. Herb has served previously on the University of Washington Construction Management advisory board, Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center board and the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce board.
